Northwest Asian Weekly: High School Senior Sneaks One by Yearbook Censors

CATEGORIES

Notorious B.I.GGraduating high school senior Jessica Lee of Garfield High School in Seattle is no dummy.

Northwest Asian Weekly decoded her high school yearbook quote and found it inspired by the rapper Notorious B.I.G.

Lee showed off her knowledge of the chemical elements with this quote:

“Fluorine uranium carbon potassium bismuth technetium helium sulfur germanium thulium oxygen neon yttrium.”

But before you think she’s a nerd, Northwest Asian Weekly advises you to break it down.

(F) fluorine (U) uranium (C) carbon (K) potassium (Bi) bismuth (Tc) technetium (He) helium (S) sulfur (Ge) germanium (Tm) thulium (O) oxygen (Ne) neon (Y) yttrium.

Put all the element symbols together and it spells out lyrics from a popular Notorious B.I.G. song.

You might say Lee got the last laugh over her teachers with this one.
