Inspired by the likes of You Tube comic Ryan Higa (pictured left) and make up artist Michelle Phan, a new generation of up and coming Asian American artists hope the glare of the You Tube spotlight will also shine on them someday.
According to Verizon, people like muscular fitness expert Mike Chang, dance choreographer Pat Lam and holistic beauty expert Farah Dhukai strive to build their following.
They have a long way to go to match Higa’s 9 million subscribers, a following bigger than even Justin Bieber.
