Perhaps because he is such a popular player, few NBA players get as much scrutiny as Jeremy Lin.
As quickly as the media built up Lin during a remarkable stretch of 26 games as a starter with the New York Knicks, many have just have quickly tore him down exaggerating his every flaw.
Now the focus has shifted to how Lin will do with Dwight Howard manning the center position for the Rockets.
Some have suggested Lin will flourish and the pair will make an excellent pick and roll tandem.
Others have said Lin should come off the bench and that Patrick Beverley should start instead.
According to the Latinos Post, Lin is the better passer with excellent court vision. Beverley is more athletic and the sturdier of the two. But his ability to distribute the basketball will be critical, something essential for a point guard.
Lin must improve his jump shot and must up his defense especially against some of the NBA’s elite.
But according to the Bleacher Report, Lin will excel with Howard at the center position.
Not only will the pick and roll play to Howard’s strengths, it should also free up James Harden as well.
That should make both players happy.
