LA Times: Bollywood Starlet Hopes Career in US Will Take Off with Disney’s Planes. @priyankachopra

Priyanka Chopra is banking that her huge popularity in India will translate in the United States.

Her single “Exotic” was recently released with rapper Pitbull..

Now her voice work is featured in Disney’s new animated feature, Planes, which opened this weekend. reports the Los Angeles Times.

The former Miss World has over four million twitter followers and 50 Hindi-language films to her credit.

Planes also features Priyanka in a musical number about her character Ishani, a girl flying in a boy’s world.  She also says she tried to bring her own culture into her voice work without the exaggerated  Indian accent heard in the Simpsons.
