A black man who says he’s a friend of Big Brother house guest Aaryn Gries is now speaking out on her behalf, according to MjsBigBlog.
Shawn Onyechi says he and Aaryn go all the way back to college and that the two were Valentines this year.
Shawn tweeted “Who thinks Aaryn Gries from big brother is racist? I’ve heard her comments, but personally I KNOW otherwise.”
All this seems part of a concerted effort to resurrect Gries reputation and career.
Her mother also recently came to her daughter defense mentioning that Aaryn went to the prom with an African American.
As most know by now, Gries made more than one racist statement during her stay in the Big Brother house about fellow house guests Candace Stewart, an African American, and Helen Kim, a Korean American
The incidents caused such a stir that Gries modeling agency promptly fired her.
