Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal with his eyes on a presidential run for the GOP nomination in 2016 has launched a new project to change the Republican Party’s flagging image, reports Town Hall.
His program called America Next will include specific proposals on how Republicans can improve health care, education and energy policies.
Jindal says the GOP can’t just keep saying no to President Obama, but must come up with better alternatives.
“We’ve got to get beyond the bumper-sticker slogans. We’ve got to get beyond the 30-second attack ads.” he told Politico. “There’s a void, and there’s an opportunity to offer specific conservative ideas on the most important issues of the day,” he said.
