Organizers of the Tet parade in Orange County have voted 47 to 21 against allowing a Vietnamese American Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender group from participating for the second year in a row, reports the Los Angeles Times.
“In the past, they say that they want to work with us — but no one has contacted us. The next thing we knew, they voted against us,” said Hieu Nguyen, of the Viet Rainbow of Orange County.
Members of Viet Rainbow plan to meet with parade sponsors.
