Tony winning playwright David Henry Hwang takes his theme of love, power and racial stereotypes to a new level in Bondage, a 1992 play now being staged in Washington, DC by Pinky Swear Productions.
The 60 minute production features two actors in full leather body suits covered from head to toe and set in an S&M Parlor, according to the Washington Post. The actors name and ethnicity are concealed, forcing the audience to use their imagination and perhaps preconceived notions. You can get a feel for the play in the teaser clip below.
