International Business Times: Filipino American NFL player waves Philippine flag updside down

Filipino American Doug Baldwin is a hero to fans of the Seattle Seahawks and to many Filipinos in America and overseas.
Baldwin caught the winning touchdown against the Minnesota Vikings this weekend.

He then celebrated by waving the flag of the Philippines to bring attention to the plight of the victims of Typhoon Haiyan, reports the International Business Times.
The team also announced that volunteers from the Red Cross would be on hand after the game to collect donations for those victims. The Paul G. Allen Family Foundation said it would match all donations.

Most Filipinos like Donya Ina above applauded Baldwin’s flag waving celebration, but others criticized it because Baldwin carried the flag out backwards,

a symbol the country is at war.

What do you think? It obviously was just a mistake by Baldwin. Should people be angry at him?
