Police in Washington D.C say Rep Grace Meng (D-NY) was found disoriented and bruised after she was robbed Tuesday night in the nation’s capital, reports the Washington Post.
Meng could not remember much about the attack and could not describe the suspect or suspects.
Medics took her to George Washington University Hospital where a report described her injuries as abrasion, swelling, bruises and unconsciousness.
