I don’t know many Asians who don’t eat rice.
I don’t know many Americans who don’t like Oreo cookies.
So what better Asian American recipe can you think of besides Oreo rice.
Ok, I’m sure there are quite a few out there.
But this one I found published in Food Beast from Rocket News 24 that sounds both tempting and gross at the same time.
Rocket News called it the perfect Japanese American mash up. Sort of like Sushi on an Oreo, I guess.
Apparently you start off by steaming rice in a rice cooker, but instead of using water, you use milk.
Then you cover the rice and milk with Oreos.
Food Beast says it reminded them of the Filipino desert Champorado
