An Indian American freshman at MIT has been awarded the American Ingenuity Award for modernizing nanotechnology.
Indian Nerve reports his discovery would allow vehicles to feel each other in the fog, reducing car accidents. It could also be used to detect land mines or to track global warming.

He was recently featured in the documentary Genius in America and has won several scientific awards since the seventh grade.
