Chinese spare ribsWe all know Chinese in America have adopted Chinese cuisine to meet their own tastes.

By now, even non-Chinese know that Chop Suey is not authentic Chinese food.

More than a handful of people know you won’t find fortune cookies in China for instance (Chinese Americans stole the idea from the Japanese)

And those “in the know” know that leaving the tea lid slightly ajar is the universal symbol for the waiter to refill the tea pot.
