CBS NY: Charges likely to be reduced in biker beating of Alexian Lien

Alexian & Rosalyn LienCBS New York is reporting that charges are likely to be reduced against the biker suspects in the beating of Alexian Lien.

That’s actually good news for Lien’s family because his health has been improving since the September incident.

That means the top charge will be reduced because first degree gang assault requires permanent injury to the victim.

The suspects could still face 15 years in prison under the lesser charge.

Plea deals are also reportedly being negotiated in the case.

You can read about that in CBS New York.

  1. RE: Charges likely to be reduced in biker beating: Sep 29 to December 29 is a 3 months period. So for 90 days the defendants have been consistently been charged of much more serious crimes than what was supported by evidence. I don not see what this has to do with leniency of any kind. By entering plea deal the exclusion from becoming a supporting witness for another defendant. USA with its plea deals and ratting and selective exclusion of testimonials are malevolent to justice.
