Korean American Seonkyoung Longest has been crowned winner of the chef cooking competition, Restaurant Express, on the Food Network, reports the Korea Times.
Longest was born in Korea and moved to Mississippi four years ago after getting married.
She won with a demonstration of Korean fusion cooking.
“I think when I heard my name I didn’t realize that was my name,” said Longest in an interview with the Food Network. I was kind of blank in my head, and I actually asked, I think it was Bianca — she was right next to me. And I looked at her, and she said, “Yes, that was your name.” Then I realized I was the winner. It was crazy. I don’t remember every single moment. All I was to think was, like: “I cannot believe it.
