The event raised funds for a proposed Children With Disabilities Center at the De La Salle Health Sciences Institute in Dasmarias, Philippines.
The Filipino-American Association of East Texas organized the fundraiser and charged $25 per participant and spectator.
The folks at the Guiness Book of World Records had said only 250 dancers were needed to dance at least five minutes to set a new mark.
