Jeremy Lin appears to be in the running for the 2013-2014 NBA Sixth Man of the Year award.
Two online publications recently put Lin’s name forward as a strong contender.
This weekend marks the unofficial halfway point in the NBA season with the All Star break.
It’s a good time to reflect on the first half of the season and look forward to how it will end.
“Make no mistake: Lin is still darn good. In fact, he may even be an award-winning baller—and sooner than you think, ” wrote Bleacher Report’ s John Wilmes about the Sixth Man of the Year Award .
“The 25-year old Lin might have lost his starting job to Patrick Beverley, but his presence as the Rockets primary weapon off the bench has been huge for the up-and-coming Western Conference contender,” said Onchie Ebriega of the Latino Post.
Lin has been averaging 13 points a game and four assists in 31 minutes of play per game.
