Ann Curry is among those mentioned as a possible replacement for Piers Morgan whose show was cancelled this week by CNN (photo by Lia Chang).
However, the NY Daily News reports that Curry is a long shot for the job, with the favorite being Rosie O’Donnell.
O’Donnell is a former co-host of the View and had a popular day time talk show from 1996 to 2002.
Presumably the final decision would rest with Curry’s former boss on Today, Jeff Zucker.
The current President of CNN has reportedly said that Curry could not carry a show solo.
