A funeral will be held Thursday for a Korean American police officer killed in a traffic accident while on duty, reports CBS LA.
A police cruiser driven by officer Nicholas Choung Lee crashed into a garbage truck that may have lost its breaks and went out of control in Beverly Hills.
Lee is a 16 year veteran of the force with 70 commendations.
In addition to family and friends, members of the Korean American community are expected to attend the service to honor Lee.
