The reports varied significantly by ethnicity with Asian American men by far the least likely to have experienced this.

Eight percent of AAPI men report an unwanted sexual experience, compared to 19 percent of whites, 22 percent African Americans and 40 percent Latinos.

The survey was taken on paper by the high school students and electronically by the college students. The sample size was small with 284 total participants, just 54 being high school teens.

To make sure the participants did not confuse this with child abuse, they were asked not to include experiences with family members.

95 percent of those reporting unwanted sexual experiences said the aggressor was a woman.

You can read more about the circumstances these unwanted sexual experiences occurred in the  American Psychological Association.

The American Psychological Association is the larges organization of psychologists in the United States and Canada.
