Daily Mail: Raymond Shrimp Boy Chow professes innocence on Facebook

Raymond Shrimp Boy ChowRaymond Shrimp Boy Chow has taken to Facebook from prison to keep in touch with his fans, according to the Daily Mail(photo via Facebook).

Someone else likely posted the message for him since he’s not allowed to have internet access from prison, but who really knows.

The man police say was at the center of the corruption bust that included California State Senator Leland Yee also posted “If you want to post something on my FB page please keep it positive. There is too much negative in this world. Stay positive and share that with me.”

Police say Chow never left his criminal past after his release from prison.

He served 22 years on racketeering charges, but said he was a changed man once he got out–often speaking to at risk youth.

The FBI infiltrated his circle five years ago and he is accused of laundering millions through an agent.

The circle widened and, according to court papers filed by prosecutors, also included Yee and former President of the San Francisco Board of Education, Keith Jackson.

Jackson is accused in a murder for hire scheme and Yee is suspected of trading political favors for contributions and even giving contributors access to illegal firearms. Yee on Friday was suspended from the Senate along with two others who are accused in separate cases filed earlier this year.

The arrest is likely to bring renewed focus on illegal activity in Chinatown and on the Chinatown underworld itself, something we haven’t seen since the Golden Dragon Massacre in the late 70s that left five people dead.

You can read a lot more about Chow’s past and what he is accused of in the Daily Mail.
