An immigration rights activist and attorney honored by the White House in 2013 has been indicted on three criminal accounts.
Citing court papers filed April 1, Breitbart reports Bonnie Youn faces one count of perjury with regard to an undocumented immigrant, one count of harboring an undocumented immigrant “for the purpose of commercial advantage,” and one count of tampering with witness testimony.
An arrest warrant for Youn was filed last Tuesday.
Youn was named a Champion of Change by the White House last year. She is Korean American, but was born in the Philippines.
Despite the indictment, her biography remains on the White House website.
