Republican Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal is increasing his national profile as he prepares for an expected run at the White House, reports News Track India.
The Indian American will give the keynote address at the closing dinner of the Republican State Convention in South Carolina, one of the early primary states.
CNN reported that “the state doubles as a must-do stopover for ambitious politicians with an eye on the White House.”
Jindal also recently released his plan for national health care and has made appearances in Iowa and New Hampshire.
