Joyce Kim has been elected student body president at the University of Pennsylvania, reports the Korea Times.
She is the first woman ever elected to the position.
Her endorsements included the Asian Pacific Student Coalition, the Black Student League, Women’s Political League, United Minorities Council and Muslim Student Association.
