A new comic book film from a Filipino American filmmaker generated a lot of buzz when it debut at the Wondercom Comic Book convention in Anaheim, reports ABS CBN.
Patricio Ginelsa’s film Black Tiger: Hunter Hunted features former World Wrestling Entertainment diva Angela Gong, Mortal Combat’s Robin Shou and Rico Anderson of Star Trek Renegades.
“This is like the perfect way to premiere our little comic book short film here at WonderCon. It’s a celebration of comic books, movies, all in one,” Ginelsa said.
It’s possible Black Tiger could be expanded into a multi-part series of feature length movie.
