One of the most well known and revered members of the Asian American community is Bruce Lee.
He is a hero to many Asian Americans who frankly are starved for positive images.
However, can Bruce Lee be too much of a good thing?
Justin KH Tse writes in Patheos that its difficult for Asian Americans to be part of the conversation in the Christian community because few bother to hear us, let alone talk to us.
Tse says the problem is not enough people outside our community bother to get to know us.
In his opinion, too many see us all as Bruce Lee, and not individuals.
I suppose Lee is better than Charlie Chan, but you get the point.
