On Islam: Walk against Islamophobia held in Dallas

Walk Against IslamophobiaAbout 100 people marched against Islamophobia and hate in Dallas this weekend.

On Islam reports the march was held to reject the bias, hate and misunderstanding of Dallas Muslims.

“I deal with Islamophobia on a regular basis with clients all the time,” Yvonne Munoz, an attorney who converted to Muslim said. “Automatically my clients will not want to meet with me and want somebody else. Once they meet with me and find that I am kind and helpful and … they change their idea.”

The march was organized by the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations and Enlightened Generations, a group of Muslim activists.

  1. RE: Walk against Islamophobia held in Dallas: When is the march against Naziphobia? Peoplestemplephobia? Mansonfamilyphobia? Khmerrougephobia? Kukluxklanophobia? Aumshinrikyophobia?

I mean, if we’re going to fight bias, hate, and misunderstanding of murderous death-cults, shouldn’t we be fighting against bias, hate, and misunderstanding of ALL murderous death-cults?
