KTNV reports health inspectors found evidence of mold, fly larvae, and cockroaches at the the Cathay House on Spring Mountain Road.

Through at interpreter, management at the Cathay House say this will not continue.

“No more vacation until everything’s taken care. Of course you need to kick the people’s butts, people kinda lazy anyway. But when the boss is here, everybody works hard.”

The Cathay House was only closed for a short period. It quickly reopened with an “A” grade after correcting the violations. It’s the latest in a series of Chinatown restaurants that have been hit by health inspectors.
