A scholarship has been named for the hero in the Seattle Pacific University studen, reports ABC
John Meis, a senior at SPU, graduated this weekend and received two standing ovations.
In recognition and honor of Jon’s quick thinking, selfless act and brave response, we are establishing the John Meis scholarship, said SPU President Daniel Martin.
Meis pepper sprayed a gunman on campus and later tackled him.
