Dr Justin Chen teaches at Harvard and is a staff psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital.
He listed the five top mental health myths in the Chinese American community in Sampan.
They are:
–Having a mental illness means you’re crazy
–People with psychiatric illnesses are more violent than other people

–People with psychiatric problems just need to work harder, or must have done something wrong in a previous life
–There are no treatments for mental illnesses
