The NanFang: Jeremy Lin ends Asia tour after Laker trade

Jeremy Lin in Philippinese Jeremy Lin is reportedly headed back to the United States (update: Jeremy Lin has arrived in Los Angeles) and ended his basketball goodwill tour of Asia after the Houston Rockets traded him to the Los Angeles Lakers, reports The NanFang.

The trade has not yet officially been announced and is not expected to become official until Lin passes a physical.

That could happen sometime this weekend.

Lin apologized to his fans on his Weibo account, saying he needed “to take care of some business.”

Lin, who is very active on social media, has not made any public comments about the trade.

His last post on Twitter was on July 2 when he responded to the slight from the Houston Rockets when the team plastered a picture of Carmelo Anthony wearing Lin’s number 7 jersey number. It was the Rockets’ apparently failed attempt to lure the free agent to Houston.
