The long running day time gabfest is in need of replacing several hosts after the the retirement of Barbara Walters and the departures of Jenny McCarthy and Sherrie Shephard.
Last week ABC announced that Rosie O’Donnell would return next season to join Whoopi Goldberg.
Curry could be a good fit for a show which targets women as its core audience. Curry has long connected with viewers and is seen as very empathetic. She would be a nice balance to the highly opinionated Goldberg and O’Donnell. However, Curry enjoys the big get with powerful people in the international arena. One might wonder if she could be happy talking about the gossip of the day and not so much about world events.
