SF Chronicle: Charges Expand Against Leland Yee & Raymond Shrimp Boy Chow

Leland Yee  Racketeering charges have been added to the federal indictments against suspended California State Senator Leland Yee and Raymond Shrimp Boy Chow, reports the SF Chronicle.

The new charges could carry with it a 20-year prison sentence and force the men to give up any ill-gotten gains.

Yee is accused of bribery through the “solicitation of campaign contributions” for “official action.”

Federal prosecutors accuse Chow of essentially running a criminal operation through the Ghee Kung Tong. He’s suspected of trafficking “drugs, weapons and stolen goods” and laundering more than $2 million.

You can read more specifics about the bribery charge against Yee in the SF Chronicle.
