A Filipino American who saved two friends from a church group from drowning was himself swept out to sea and is presumed dead.
ABS CBN reports that the search has been called off for 18-year old Paul Alimoren.
He was swimming with seven friends off the ocean waters in Washington when the rip tide became too strong.
Alimoren was from Southern California.
