Lheandrew Lloyd Balabat was severely injured and his parents killed after a tornado at a campground near Norfolk, Virginia blew down a tree and struck their tent July 24.
Lheandrew’s two younger sisters were staying in another tent and were treated for non-life threatening injuries. They are now staying with relatives.
The boy’s principal describes the 14-year old as a likable kid.
“He is extremely polite — went out of his way to say hello and speak to every teacher on a personal level all the time,” Francine Luce of Ezra L. Nolan Middle School, told The Jersey Journal.
