Time: Wong Fu Productions Wraps Up Filming on First Feature Film

Wong Fu ProductionsFilming has just wrapped up on the fourth-best funded movie ever on the crowd-funding website Indiegogo, reports Time.

Behind the still unnamed movie is Wong Fu Productions, the team of Philip Wang, Wesley Chan and Ted Fu that had attracted 2 million You Tube subscribers in 11 years.

Up to now, they’ve made short videos that have tapped into the growing hunger of Asian Americans to see positive representations of themselves in the media.

That appetite is apparently unfulfilled, given the amount of money raised for their film.

Wong Fu will spend the next three or four months in post production, then they hope to hit the festival circuit and after that, who knows.

To get a taste of the film and its star studded Asian American cast, go to Time.
