A boy who had been in a coma since last month’s tornado in Virginia swept through his family’s campground has died of his injuries, reports the Inquirer.
13-year old Lheandrew Lloyd Balatbat was pinned down under a tree after the tornado that also killed his mother and father hit.
The family was not aware of the coming tornado until they received a text alert. By then, rain and debris was pounding on their tent and the only protection they could find was a tarp to shield their tent from some of the elements.
Lheandrew is survived by his sisters, Lharizia Ann, 12, and Lheana Ann, 7.
