The Japanese American National Museum and its new exhibition, Dodgers: Brotherhood of the Game received a big boost when it got a visit from Hall of Famer Hideo Nomo, reports Rafu Shimpo.
Nomo was greeted by his former manager Tommy Lasorda and former Dodgers owner Peter O’Malley .
“I’m so glad to see you,” Nomo told Lasorda as the two hugged.
As you might imagine, the visit generated quite a lot of excitement at the museum.
“You are a sporting figure, but you are also a figure of admiration for Japanese and people of Japanese heritage around the world,” said JANM President and CEO Greg Kimura about Nomo.

“For me to be here and see all that support laid out in this exhibit is a great feeling for me,” Nomo said.
