Katie Couric’s nice girl image is about to take a hit from the new book The News Sorority by Sheila Weller, reports Radar Online.
Weller tells of how Couric used to bully Ann Curry during their days together on Today.
“Katie was a bully and Ann was the victim,” an unnamed source told the author.
Weller writes in her book ““Katie often threw Ann off balance by criticizing Ann’s clothing choices just before they went on air,”
This is not a new story. Reports of Today staffers ridiculing Curry’s clothing style came out in Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV by Brian Stelter. This is the first time Couric’s name has come out in connection with that.
