Local authorities in Virginia are seeing a rash of anti-Hindu hate crimes, reports Zee.
Since July there have been 17 cases of anti-Hindu graffiti and vandalism in Ashburn, near the Dulles International Airport.
Hateful words such as ‘No Hindus allowed’ and ‘No Hindus by order of Mosby Rangers’ have made the growing Indian American population there uneasy.
“I find it very disturbing that there are individuals who are willing to destroy private property and spew hate against our Hindu neighbors,” Virginia Delegate David Ramadan said.
All of the graffiti has been cleaned up.
