Director Justin Lin may return to wrap up the Fast & Furious series, according to Deadline.
Reports indicate several chapters of the sequel could be shot together, but Fast & Furious 7 would be the last of the series if Lin decided not to return. 7 is due out in April 2015 and was directed by James Wan.
Lin had been expected to direct the next Bourne Legacy sequel, but that is now in limbo. Recently the studio announced Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass would be returning to the series.
