Margaret Cho plans to send out tweets for the next two months announcing where she will be performing on the streets of San Franciso, reports ABC7/KGO-TV.
The comedian plans to give the free performances as a way to encourage her fans to make donations of clothing and money for the homeless.
They can drop off their donations during her performances and the homeless are encouraged to come by and take what they need.
She tweeted late yesterday that she plans to be at the corner of Castro and Market in San Francisco today at noon.
Tomorrow noon Castro and market. We need food and clothing donations and people to play and sing
