An incredible display of generosity and compassion for the families of two New York police officers gunned down in cold blood.
The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation announced it had raised in just ten days enough money to pay off the mortgages of the two police officers, reports WABC.
An emotional and tearful Pei Xia Chen, widow of Wenjian Liu, extended her gratitude.
“To all my extended blue family, be safe out there and appreciate life each day.”
Cindy, the sister of Rafael Ramos was also on hand for the announcement.
“Just to know that my sister-in-law and the boys could sleep just a little bit better amidst this tragedy fills a little bit of that gap.”
