The new owner of Club Paradise in Las Vegas has earned a pretty penny in the strip club business, according to the Las Vegas Sun.
Steve Paik also operates clubs in Atlantic City and Philadelphia and has made enough money to travel around the world.
Don’t expect this man born in Seoul, South Korea to be flashing his money and handing out business cards from his establishments.
“No, I really don’t want to be known in this industry,” said Paik who moved to Philadelphia in 1976. “I try not to be so out front. I am in this business to make a living, not to socialize.”
The fact that he even earns a living in strip clubs is contrary to the public reputation of his family. His family founded the first Korean American church in Philadelphia and his cousin David Oh is the first Korean American on the Philadelphia City Council.
