It’s a role that could energize Vanessa Hudgens career, reports the Washington Post (Hudgens with Drew Seeley on High School Musical tour).
The former star of Disney’s High School Musical has been waiting for the next big role ever since then. Despite appearing in nine films, none have had the success of the Disney flicks.
On Friday, she will appear at the famed Kennedy Center in Washington DC on stage as Gigi. For someone who has done her best to distant herself from the Disney image by playing a drug addict, prostitute and stripper, its a return to her wholesome image.
She’ll play a giggly teenager made famous by Audrey Hepburn in 1951.
