Now its been announced she will appear with Julieanne Hough in a live TV production of Grease, reports People.
Hough will star as Sandy, the character made famous by Olivia Newton John in the classic 1978 movie. Hudgens will play bad girl Rizzo. The show will air on Fox on Jan 31, 2016.
“Being Rizzo is something I’ve never imagined, and I love that because it will be a new challenge,” said Hudgens. “She is such an iconic character that continues to transcend generations. I cannot wait to bring her to life on live television. I’m going to be a Pink Lady!”
