It’s full speed ahead for Furious 7, reports Variety
The film under the helm of new director James Wan debut at South by Southwest this week.
Despite the sudden death of star Paul Walker and the exit of director Justin Lin, the popular franchise shows no sign of slowing down.
Wrote Variety’s Scott Foundas:
Completed under what were surely challenging circumstances, but (mostly) seamless to behold, “Furious 7” provides both a satisfying chapter in the movies’ pre-eminent gearhead soap opera and a tactful, touching memorial to Walker, whose final screen appearance will help ensure that this already $2.3 billion series is seven times lucky at the worldwide box office.
