NY Post: Prison Time for Four in Alexian Lien Biker Beating

motorcycle chaseThree suspects in the Alexian Lien biker beating in New York have received a two year prison sentence, reports the New York Post.

The sentences were all part of plea bargains in which suspects Craig Wright, James Kuehne and Kaliq Douglas admitted to felony assault and riot. The three also admitted to having hit Lien.

Clint Caldwell pleaded guilty to the same charges, but prosecutors say he did not strike Lien. A judge sentenced him to a one year prison term.

So far eight of the 11 suspects in the case have accepted plea bargains.

Lien’s SUV bumped up against a motorcyclist when prosecutors say that biker intentional slowed in front of Lien. The incident set off a chain of events in which the bikers chased Lien, eventually dragged him out of the vehicle and beat him with his wife and child watching.  At one point during the incident, Lien tried to escape in his SUV and seriously injured one of the bikers.

Lien has not been charged in the case.
