Times of India: First Indian Player Makes NBA Roster

Sim Bhullar7’5″ Sim Bhullar has signed a ten day contract with the Sacramento Kings, reports Times of India

The wide-bodied Bhullar from New Mexico latched on to the Kings Summer League team earlier, but this will be his first stint with the “A” team. The Kings are owned by Indian American Vivek Ranadive who has set out to make the Kings an international favorite in India.

Bhullar was born in Canada and will be the tallest player in the NBA since the 7’6″ Yao Ming. He becomes the first Indian player ever to make an NBA roster during the regular season.
