LA Times: Organizers of Tet Parade in Orange County Accused of Embezzlement

Tet ParadeTwo student organizers of the Tet Parade in Orange County are facing accusations of embezzlement, reports the Los Angeles Times.

The charge follows an internal investigation after numerous ATM withdrawals raised suspicions.

Nina Tran of the Union of the Vietnamese Student Assns. of Southern California and  Helen Nguyen are suspected of stealing nearly $118,000.

The executive board of the parade has turned the accusations over to the Garden Grove Police Department.
